Ford has a long history of offering some of the best vehicles in America, whether you are looking for a car, SUV, or truck. Before you head out to find the right new Ford for sale, make sure you take a few minutes to look over the Ford lineup and see what they have to offer. A little research now can save you a lot of time and money in the long-run. After all, you won’t know what’s right for you if you don’t know what’s out there.
To be fair, the full lineup of Ford vehicles covers a lot and really has something for pretty much everyone but would take a long time to fully explore. So, with that in mind, here are nine vehicles that you should be aware of and check out if you are in the market for a new ride. Whether you want a car, an SUV, or a pickup truck, there’s a new Ford for sale that will scratch your itch and give you the performance and functionality you need.
#1 – The 2019 Ford Fiesta
The first of three new Ford cars for sale that I want to mention is the Fiesta, which starts off at a great price and offers tons of features and options for customization. The 2019 Ford Fiesta is a sleek little ride that can fit into any lifestyle, making it a great option if you don’t have a lot of space but still need a vehicle. And yet, it has seating for up to 5 people to fit safely inside, while offering up to 27 mpg/35 mpg in the city and on the highway. With ten different exterior color options and plenty of interior features to choose from, you can make a Fiesta exactly what you want it to be and customize it for who you are.
#2 – The 2019 Ford Fusion
If you want a car, but prefer something a little bigger than the Fiesta, then you should consider the Ford Fusion, which is one of the best new Fords for sale. It costs a bit more than the Fiesta, but also offers more – and while it still has seating for 5 people, they will certainly be more comfortable in the Fusion. The standard version provides 21 mpg/31 mpg in the city and highway, but there is also a hybrid version available.
The 2019 Ford Fusion Hybrid offers up to 26 miles of driving using only the electrical system, or an estimated 610 total miles on a full tank of gas using the hybrid system. The Hybrid’s regenerative braking system is a major part of this, recovering energy when braking and sending it to the battery for later use. The Ford Fusion also looks great and has fantastic safety features including available blind spot detection with cross-traffic alert.
#3 – The 2019 Ford Mustang
Of course, we can’t talk about new Fords for sale and leave out the original pony car, the Ford Mustang. While a sports car like the Mustang isn’t right for everyone, if you want a new Ford that can put you back in your seat like nothing else, then this is the way to go. The 2019 Mustang is gorgeous and packs a lot of power under the hood, plus it is available in either a standard coupe or a convertible so you can get the perfect ride for sunny days and rainy days alike.
#4 – The 2019 Ford EcoSport
If you’re going out to look for an SUV when shopping for a new Ford for sale, however, then consider the 2019 Ford EcoSport to start off with. This is a great option if you want the performance and durability of an SUV but need something a bit smaller to fit into your life. As a compact model, the EcoSport has seating for 5 and decent interior cargo space, but don’t expect to pack too much into it. With that in mind, it offers an estimated 27 mpg/29 mpg in the city and on the highway, which is excellent for an SUV of any size.
#5 – The 2019 Ford Escape
While looking at SUVs, if you decide the EcoSport is a bit small for your needs, then consider the 2019 Ford Escape. This is a slightly larger model, but still not a full-size SUV, that has seating for five people and much more cargo space inside. Gas mileage with the Ford Escape is not quite as exceptional as with the EcoSport, at least not in the city, though for highway driving it is actually comparable.
#6 – The 2019 Ford Expedition
Of course, when looking at SUVs while shopping for a new Ford for sale, you might be after something full-size, and that’s where the 2019 Ford Expedition comes in. This model is an absolute beast that gives you plenty of room inside, not to mention third-row seating that comfortably seats eight people. This is a perfect choice if you like to go camping and you need a lot of room for loading up your gear or like to haul a trailer behind you.
That’s because the 2019 Ford Expedition has up to 104 cu.ft. of interior cargo space behind the first row of seats. And even with more passengers, you still get plenty of space for loading up just about anything. Plus, the Expedition has up to 9,300 lbs of towing capacity when properly configured so that you can haul a loaded trailer or camper behind you with ease.
#7 – The 2019 Ford Ranger
If a pickup truck is what you’re looking for, then start your search with the 2019 Ford Ranger. This is the smallest of the trucks available from Ford and is the perfect fit if you need the reliability and power of a pickup when a full-size model is more truck than you need. It can have seating for up to 5 people and has estimated optimal fuel economy of 21 mpg/26 mpg in the city and on the highway, which is excellent for a truck. Of course, if a full-size model is right for you, then consider…
#8 – The 2019 Ford F-150
Little needs to be said about the Ford F-150, which has been the bestselling truck in America since dinosaurs roamed the earth. It’s a full-size option that is perfect if you’re looking for a new Ford for sale to get a lot of work done, but you don’t need the full power of a Super Duty model. It outperforms just about every other similar truck on the road and has six engines available, including a beastly 3.5L twin-turbo HO EcoBoost engine that provides up to 450 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque for incredible overall performance. If that’s not powerful enough, then there’s…
#9 – The 2019 Ford Super Duty Trucks
Two different models are available in the standard Super Duty lineup, depending on just how much power you really need. The F-250 is a direct step up from the F-150 and offers more power and greater performance overall. If you need the absolute pinnacle of strength in a new Ford for sale, then the Ford F-350 is the way to go. When properly equipped, it can handle up to 21,000 lbs through conventional towing, or up to 27,500 lbs with a fifth-wheel or gooseneck setup. The Super Duty trucks are absolute monsters that can handle anything you throw at them and just keep coming back for more.
Remember that these are not the only vehicles Ford has available. These nine are simply a sample to give you a sense of what’s out there. If none of them is quite the perfect fit, then head to your local Ford dealership to see the full lineup and find the one that’s right for you.
