Why are Ford Fans so Excited Right Now?

Honestly, there are plenty of reasons for Ford fans to be excited these days, but the major reason that comes to mind is the current lineup of vehicles from Ford. Every year, new models are released, of course, but the lineup this year is one of the best that Ford has ever offered. That makes this a great time to visit your Ford dealer and a great time to be a fan of the Ford Motor Company in general.

Of course, it’s easy for me to simply say, “Hey! Ford has a great lineup,” but there’s no reason for you to take my word for it – I’m just some random person on the Internet. So I’ll prove that this is a great time to be a Ford fan by showing you the lineup that has so many people excited. By the end of this, if you still don’t believe me, then I suggest you head to a Ford dealer and see it for yourself because words really can’t do this selection justice.

2021 Ford Bronco

There’s no better way to kick this off than with the return of an absolute legend! For over two decades, people have been asking for the Bronco to come back, and it finally has. The model you’ll find at your Ford dealer this year is not resting on its reputation, however, as it’s one of the best off-road SUVs I’ve ever seen. The Wildtrak trim with its standard Sasquatch Package is the clear winner for hitting the trail thanks to 35-inch tires on 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels, Bilstein shocks, and much more.

2021 Ford Bronco Sport

Clearly, Ford subscribes to the idea that you can never have too much of a good thing since there’s not just one but two Bronco models at Ford dealers this year. The Bronco Sport is a smaller version of the Bronco, giving you fantastic off-road capability in a compact design. It can’t quite match the trail performance of the full-size Bronco, but it comes pretty close thanks to standard 4×4, the new GOAT terrain management system, and HOSS suspension.

2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E

Rounding out the impressive triumvirate of new Ford SUVs this year is the all-new Mustang Mach-E, the first addition to the Mustang lineup in over 50 years. This is an all-electric SUV that delivers incredible performance and impressive range. Best of all: the model you choose lets you focus on what you prefer. Go with the GT trim to go from 0 to 60 in just 3.5 seconds, or choose an Extended Range model for an estimated 300 miles of range on a full charge.

2021 Ford EcoSport

While the Bronco models and Mustang Mach-E might be getting most of the press this year, there are plenty of other solid SUVs available at your Ford dealer. The EcoSport is the perfect fit for anyone looking for a budget-friendly subcompact model with seating for up to five people. With fuel efficiency of up to 27 MPG in the city and 29 MPG on the highway, plus available Intelligent 4WD, the EcoSport has something for everyone.

2021 Ford Escape

For Ford fans looking for something a bit more robust, the Escape is a great SUV option with improved performance and a sleek style. The Escape also has seating for up to five people, but with four different engines available, including an impressive plug-in hybrid, you can choose the model that’s just right for you. A hybrid model with front-wheel drive gets an estimated 41 MPG combined, which is perfect for any fuel-conscious drivers who need more than a compact sedan can offer.

2021 Ford Edge

If you prefer improved performance with your SUV, then the Edge is a terrific choice, particularly the impressive ST trim. The interior of the Edge has received an update this year with a 12-inch portrait-oriented infotainment display that really stands out. Go with the ST for a performance-tuned EcoBoost V6 engine that delivers up to 335 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque, with an available Performance Brake package that features 21-inch premium gloss black-painted wheels and Colorado Red-painted brake calipers.

2021 Ford Explorer

Ford fans looking to haul a large family along on an adventure often choose the Explorer at their Ford dealer. This is a larger SUV with seating for up to seven people, with great features inside and out, including luxurious seating and excellent technology. There’s a Hybrid model available that offers 5,000 lbs of towing capacity and incredible fuel efficiency, as well as an ST trim with a twin-turbo V6 that gives the Explorer ST a top speed of 143 mph.

2021 Ford Expedition

If you want something for a really big group of people, then the Expedition is the way to go: with seating for up to eight passengers. Five different trims are available for the Expedition, including four trims offered as either standard or larger MAX models. This year, a new XL STX trim is available, which removes the third row of seating – giving you seats for up to five people, plus tons of cargo space in the rear, at a lower price than any other model.

2021 Ford F-150

Ford fans will tell you that the F-150 is America’s favorite truck, and it has been for more than 40 years. This is the definitive full-size pickup for many people, and the 2021 redesign F-150 has only made it better. With best-in-class available towing and payload, a newly upgraded interior with an available 12-inch infotainment display, and the Pro Power Onboard system that lets the F-150 act as a mobile generator, it’s easy to get excited about this truck.

2021 Ford F-150 Raptor

Although you could see this as nothing more than a trim for the F-150, I think it deserves special attention. For many people, the Raptor is the ultimate off-road truck, and with the recent redesign to the F-150, it was only a matter of time until we saw an all-new Raptor. This year’s Raptor includes available 37-inch tires, next-generation FOX shocks, redesigned independent rear suspension, and new off-road technology that includes Trail Control and a 1-Pedal Drive mode.

2021 Ford Ranger

Although the F-150 gets a lot of attention, the midsize Ranger is a favorite for many Ford fans due to its smaller size and strong, playful design. If you’re not interested in the F-150 Raptor, but you want to go off-road in a pickup, then the Ranger is a terrific choice when you look at its all-new available Tremor Off-Road Package. This option includes skid plates, a modified off-road suspension, and front and rear tow hooks.

2021 Ford Super Duty

For professionals looking for more power than the F-150 can manage, the Super Duty pickups deliver incredible capability. These include the F-250, F-350, and F-450 models, which are great for standard towing but really shine when you look at fifth-wheel and gooseneck towing. With available 7.3L V8 gas and 6.7L Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel engines, no other truck can come close to what the Super Duty models deliver.

2021 Ford Mustang

Although a Ford dealer might not be the place to go for a large selection of sedans, if you want a performance sports car, then it’s hard to beat the Mustang. The original pony car continues to live up to its reputation with incredible power and a driving experience you really can’t beat. Fastback and Convertible models are available, and the all-new Mach 1 and Mach 1 Premium trims are filled with track-ready performance features and an uprated 5.0L V8 engine.

2021 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500

However, if you’re looking for the ultimate level of power and performance, then the Mustang Shelby GT500 can’t be beat. It features a 5.2L Supercharged Cross Plane Crank V8 engine that delivers an unbelievable 760 hp and 625 lb-ft of torque, with a Tremec 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. With a 12-inch full-color customizable digital instrument cluster and RECARO ebony leather-trimmed seats, this beauty can go from 0 to 60 in just 3.4 seconds.
