This is the engine that will get just about any job done – if you’re looking to haul a thousand pounds of gear up a steep incline, this is the one that can get it done. If configured properly, this truck has a maximum towing capacity of up to 14,500 lbs. with a traditional setup and up to 15,400 lbs. with a gooseneck, plus it has a maximum payload of more than 3,000 lbs.
On top of all that, the Sierra 2500HD has a starting MSRP of $38,200, which is quite reasonable for everything it can do.
The 2019 GMC Sierra 3500HD
