The Sasquatch package takes the amazing attributes of the Ford Bronco and gives it a crypto-zoological twist. Ford designed the Bronco as a two and four-door off-road SUV with a standard 4X4 drivetrain. The idea behind the Sasquatch is to take these off-road capabilities to another level with the addition of specialized equipment. However, unlike some other automakers who hide in the shadows like the Jersey Devil and reserve their best equipment for their most expensive trims, Ford offers the Sasquatch package on every trim level of the 2021 Bronco–except the Wildtrak and First Edition, which come standard with the Sasquatch features. The 2021 Ford Bronco comes with your choice of two truly powerful engines. The 2.3-liter EcoBoost I-4 features a high-pressure die-cast aluminum alloy engine block. It utilizes direct fuel injection to produce 300 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque. The other engine is a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 with a compacted graphite iron engine block. This engine uses a combination of direct and port fuel injectors to provide 330 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque.
Ford has decided to pair the 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 with a 10-speed automatic transmission, while the 2.3-liter EcoBoost I-4 offers a choice of either the 10-speed automatic transmission or a 7-speed Getrag manual transmission. That manual transmission gives you exceptional control over your Bronco, making off-roading even more fun for folks who crave challenges, as it includes a crawler gear to give you maximum torque at low RPMs for improved rock climbing. Ford recently announced that it is making the 7-speed manual available on the Sasquatch package starting with the 2022 Bronco model. There are a set of electronic locking front and rear axles, which will prevent wheel slippage by locking the wheels together. This can be a crucial feature when tackling especially daunting off-road challenges.

These advanced pieces of engineering will cushion even the most rugged trails, so you don’t come out from your travels looking like you went ten rounds with Bigfoot himself.
